Strengthening Organizations
Institutionalizing Integrity
Cultivating Cambium

Cambium is that thin, green, living cell layer beneath the bark of a tree. This layer runs from root tips to tree tips, and this maintains the overall integrity of the organism. Cambium passes communication and nutrients throughout the tree body, growing inward to become the heartwood, and outward to become the bark. Cambium documents years of drought and years of plenty, and illustrates its learnings in tree rings.
Cambium honors the history before it, and is itself a primary integrity builder, maintaining alignment between what's visible & external and what is unseen. Cambium is the thin, green edge of growth. Our collective nourishes and cultivates the Cambium of each individual and organization we touch.
